ICIC is an innovative program wth a 14 year history of working with the District's low income children and their families.Our programs are concentrated in DC's early child care centers where we create environments that foster the children's development and school readiness. We train teachers and have helped 32 inner-city centers attain NAEYC accreditation. Our newest program, Read With Me, shows parents the way to become invloved wth their children's early learning and literacy. I look forward to hearing more about the Early Care and Education Collaborative as well as when the RFP will be released.
