How touching to hear examples of how we, humans, mutually caring and loving one another, can publicly claim and act on our ability and drive to be compassionate. Today, with the announcement of Obama's pick for the supreme court justice, I am reminded of what I am terming, full spectrum humanity. That is embracing our herstories/and histories/our experiences, our intellect, our passions and weaving this into our work - be it philanthropy, the law or whatever! Thanks for the reminder that philanthropy doesn't belong to an exclusive few.
