– Dozens of girls from the D.C. area spent a day immersing themselves in technology as part of Microsoft’s DigiGirlz Day. The tech company held events worldwide in the hopes of increasing the number of young women involved in tech careers. Locally, Rep. Donna Edward (D-MD) was the keynote speaker.
