2007 Leadership Awards

The Women’s Foundation is proud to announce the 2007 Leadership Awardees.

The Leadership Awards is an innovative, grassroots grantmaking program that recognizes local nonprofits that demonstrate innovation and/or measurable success in their services to women and girls. Led by a team of The Women’s Foundation’s volunteer donors, the 2007 Leadership Awards program focused on health and safety programs.

In November 2007, The Women’s Foundation awarded eight Leadership Awards of $10,000 to outstanding organizations serving the health and safety needs of women and girls throughout the Washington metropolitan region.
