JOIN A COMMUNITY OF EVERYDAY PHILANTHROPISTS INVESTING IN WOMEN AND GIRLS
Since 1998, we have invested over $17 million to uplift the lives of women and girls in our region through programs, grantmaking, and advocacy. "Washington Area Women's Foundation holds a special place in my heart because of its tireless dedication to advancing opportunities for women of color in our community. By creating a platform that amplifies diverse voices and experiences, The Women's Foundation goes beyond merely addressing gender disparities; it actively works towards dismantling systemic barriers and promoting a society where every woman, regardless of race, background, or circumstance, can access the opportunities and support needed to succeed."
