President's Circle

Members of our President’s Circle invest $250,000 or more in our programs and are essential to creating a lasting impact. Members are invited to events with board members and the President and CEO, have an opportunity to name a space or program, and are invited to a site visit with a Grantee Partner.

Changemakers

Members of our Changemakers group invest $10,000-$24,999 in the Foundation, and their generosity allows us to continue working for Washington area women and girls. Members receive invitations to special Foundation events and stay up-to-date on key issues through emails from senior Foundation leadership.

Legacy

Members of our Legacy group make a commitment to the future of Washington area women and girls by including Washington Area Women’s Foundation in their will. Planned giving is a meaningful way to create a legacy and will help to ensure we can continue to serve economically vulnerable women and girls for years to come.

Corporate giving & sponsorship.

Corporations can become involved with The Women’s Foundation through outright gifts, in-kind gifts, and sponsorship of our annual Leadership Luncheon. Your company’s investment in The Women’s Foundation shows our local community that you are committed to helping us improve the lives of Washington area women and girls and to doubling our impact in the community.

Washington Area Women’s Foundation Giving Circles.

Giving Circles provide creative and exciting opportunities to engage in meaningful, “hands-on” philanthropy while cultivating new philanthropic knowledge. Individuals pool their money, explore community needs, and decide together where to make grants to address those needs. For more information about giving circles, check out their webpages below.

Other ways to give.

Tribute and Memorial Gifts: Consider making a donation in honor or memory of a special person. The Women’s Foundation will send the honoree a card notifying them of your gift.

Workplace Giving: The Women’s Foundation participates in the CFC (#8217) and the United Way Campaign (#24843). It’s easy to give through your workplace.

Matching Gift: Find out if your employer will match your gift to The Women’s Foundation, automatically doubling your support.
