— Later this month the D.C. Council will finalize the budget for the 2011 fiscal year. The version of the budget that’s on the table now includes serious cuts to many services like the Earned Income Tax Credit, child care, job training, police and public works. Many of these services will be essential in helping local residents recover from the impact of the recession.
